Mind the Gap: A Lenten Quiet Day with The Rev. Canon Doris Westfall.
Saturday, March 20, 9:00 - 12:00.
Join Reverend Doris for a meaningful time of reflection and contemplation. Using the book, The Other Side of Chaos, by Margaret Self, Doris will lead us in discussion and quiet times to consider what God is doing in the "gap" between what was before and what is becoming.

Adult Christian Education

St. John’s offers multiple opportunities for adults to learn more about their faith. A Bible Study based on the readings for that Sunday is offered on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.  No advance preparation or knowledge is needed.

During the seasons of Advent and Lent, a weeknight book study is frequently offered, often including a meal together.

For those who are seeking to know more about Christian faith and the Episcopal Church, we periodically offer an inquirers' class we call "Episcopal 101."  Anyone wishing to be baptized or to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church attends this series of sessions.  We explore beliefs, history, worship, and practices -- the peculiarities and wonders of the Episcopal tradition.

For more information about Adult Christian Education, contact Brent Brower-Toland at [email protected].
