At St. John's, Tower Grove,we strive to be a church of the "parish" in the best sense of that old-fashioned word.

A "parish" is the word for community, or neighborhoods, surrounding a particular church. If you live or work in the Tower Grove area, you are a "parishioner" of St. John's, Tower Grove. Everyone is welcome at St. John's, Tower Grove, whether or not you are a member of the worshiping community.

We are fortunate to be located right across the street from Tower Grove Park, in Tower Grove Heights, a vibrant, walkable neighborhood adjacent to Grand South Grand, part of the larger Tower Grove South neighborhood in the City of St. Louis.

In our wider church community, we are a part of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri, which is part of the Episcopal Church USA. The Episcopal Church USA is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion of Churches.

Building Accessibility Issues

Although we strive to welcome everyone, we currently struggle with providing accessibility for all people. As we work to create permanent solutions to our accessibility problems, we can currently offer the use of a US General aluminum ramp from the rear of the Parish Hall (1200 lb. weight limit), which provides access to most of the first floor of St. John's buildings. Please call 772.3970 if you or someone you are with needs to use the access ramp from the rear of the Parish Hall.
