Tenant Organizations

St. John's has several tenant organizations, many of whom provide us with many wonderful opportunities for collaboration and partnership. Currently, our tenants include the African Mutual Assistance Association of Missouri, Liberty Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Joan Brackmann LPC (licensed professional counselor), and Alcoholics Anonymous.

Alcoholics Anonymous Mixed group Mondays at 7:30 p.m. Women's meeting Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Parish Hall

Immigrant & Refugee Women’s Program (IRWP) volunteers work to increase the independence and reduce the isolation of immigrant and refugee women by teaching them basic English and practical living skills in the security of their own homes. IRWP reaches out to women from over 12 countries who cannot leave their home due to physical challenges, effects of war trauma, child care and/or transportation issues. Volunteer teachers provide one-on-one instruction that concentrate on speaking, reading and writing English, and practical living skills weekly in two1-hour sessions.
